Collaboratory - 50th Anniversary
A 50th anniversary video is an easy brief to get wrong. The instinct is to recap the history: a timeline, a highlight reel, a look at how far we've come. When Stinghouse was commissioned to mark the milestone for Collaboratory, Southwest Florida's community foundation, we made a different call. We built the film around the people and places Collaboratory exists to serve, letting lived experience carry what statistics never could.
The best way to tell the story of 50 years isn't through a timeline. It's by seeing and feeling what 50 years made possible. Organized around four themes, People, Place, Progress, and Participation, the film focuses not on where Collaboratory has been, but on the impact it continues to create across five counties today. It closes with an invitation to the dreamers, doers, and believers who will shape the next 50 years, turning a commemoration into a call to participate in what comes next.

RESULTS
Client & Audience Response
The film was met with an overwhelmingly positive reception at its premiere, with the client and audience alike moved by the final product.
A Lasting Asset
The film is designed to endure well beyond the anniversary celebration. It serves as the Collaboratory's definitive story for years to come, used to introduce new partners, inspire donors, and communicate the depth of the organization's community impact.
WHY IT WORKED
By weaving together the voices of community leaders, longtime partners, and the people whose lives Collaboratory has touched, the film made 50 years of impact feel both sweeping and deeply personal. Audiences didn't just learn about the organization; they felt it. The result is a film that works as a celebration, a rallying cry, and an invitation all at once, making it a powerful tool for Collaboratory to carry its story forward into the next 50 years.
